Shrunk pets
It would be nice to have more informations with a shrunk pet: full stats, skills, current level, max level. Two reasons: when you buy one from someone you have no idea what you're buying, and for inventory management (I'm getting into breeding, and yeah it gets messy hehehe)
Pet leashs in pet supplies key
Like the tool key, it would be nice to be able to extract a certain number of uses from the key, for now it's just extracting a 10 uses pet leash, which is not a lot.
Pet trainer
Would it be possible for him not to move? Also he does reflect damage, not sure if it's intended. His res are at 50 which makes him killable, it's nice since he gives a ton of pet XP, but I'm not sure it's intended like that hehehehe. Also is it allowed to be afk there?
Pet balance
Ok this one is pretty big and I didn't fully explore the system, but looking at the stats, abilities and number of slots here is what I think: most pets (not bios) in general have no use, at all, when looking at a pet there is only 3 interesting values: hit points (is it over 1000?), resistances (one or several over 75?) and slots required (anything lower than 3 is good, anything 3 or more would need something special to be worth using). Anything that doesn't qualify in that (large amount of hit points, some resistance(s) over 75 and/or special ability) is just deco, simple as that. If you want custom pets to be used, you have to make them special. Also special abilities would be interesting to be on par with bios since breeding is a long and tedious process.
In comparison, bios are a lot easier/faster to make (don't need leveling/breeding), don't endure stat losses (a very BIG one since we get so few points per pet levels) and can heal themselves in two ways (bandies and counter healing). No need to say if anyone needs a tanking pet it's the only way to go, and since pets are mostly for tanking...
Human bios are broken and bugged, I know I won't make a lot of friends saying that. A pet with 100 all res is not good game design (only achievable using certain items, sounds like a bug to me?). The thing is, with some monsters having so ridiculously high damage (maybe someday I will be able to tank some of them with a ton of +hit points stuff hehehe, can't wait to test it out!), they are kinda required to be like that at the time being. Nobody wants to see his trained pet getting one hit by a monster and endure stat losses which would put him 10 levels behind. Changing that in the current state would cause people to be largely upset but it has to be said.
I'm starting to breed pack instinct pets, I found a very interesting one (1 slot, high enough res so I don't need a ton of generations to make something useable) and will let you one how it goes, of course it won't be a tanking pet and won't be usable on most custom monsters (since 75 max res) but it could help on a few high hit points monsters that don't do a ton of damage. On that subject: pack instinct pets higher than 1 slot are useless to tame, I saw a few in the Zoo aswell as the hell hounds/imps. I tamed 5 level 30 hell cats for the purpose of breeding but at 1-2-3 points per level it's just not doable at all, would take me years to be able to have something useable.
